By stevebeans on  From therealityjunkies.com
Don't Miss An Update - Subscribe Today Posted by Melinda on November 23, 2010 Skating with the Stars I admit I wasn’t expecting much of Skating With the Stars.  I was right to feel that way.  It’s basically Dancing With the Stars on ice skates, only not nearly as interesting.  What we got was more of the same, right down to the choice of judges.  Just as in Dancing, we had the flamboyant young guy, the codgy old stodger, and the token female.  Bruno, Len, and Carrie...Read Full Story

Skating With The Stars Premier, errrr?!

By carolineroman on  From thedailytruffle.com
Let’s not discuss why I decided to watch Skating with the stars, because in all honesty I am quite ashamed to admit this. I was however interested in the fact that there is a huge indoor skating rink with hundreds of bells and whistles at CBS Television Studios in LA (Where Dancing with the Stars is filmed). What are your thoughts on this show Trufflers? Pros: The judges, starting with Johnny Weir (Olympian, and reality star), Laurie Anne Gibson( WORLD famous choreographer and will have a...Read Full Story

Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin put Russia back on the map in Ice Dancing, as they won their first ice dancing gold at the World Championships. This was their first medal at Worlds and the first for a Russian couple in four years. Domnina and Shabalin’s performance, which was to Khatchaturian’s “Spartacus,” may not have been the most emotional dance of the night, but it was a difficult program and the Russians delivered. After the performance, Maxim Shabalin said that “we gave so much...Read Full Story

By James on  From pabaon.com
I was voting for Taninth Belbin and Benjamin Agosto to win the gold in the 2008 World Championships. Unfortunately they made a rare fall in compulsories. They were fourth overall. This is the first time that the Americans were out of the podium in any competition since 2004.Read Full Story
