Let’s not discuss why I decided to watch Skating with the stars, because in all honesty I am quite ashamed to admit this. I was however interested in the fact that there is a huge indoor skating rink with hundreds of bells and whistles at CBS Television Studios in LA (Where Dancing with the Stars is filmed). Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin put Russia back on the map in Ice Dancing, as they won their first ice dancing gold at the World Championships. This was their first medal at Worlds and the first for a Russian couple in four years. I was voting for Taninth Belbin and Benjamin Agosto to win the gold in the 2008 World Championships. Unfortunately they made a rare fall in compulsories. They were fourth overall. This is the first time that the Americans were out of the podium in any competition since 2004.Read Full Story
