kcsno56 with the pick...
The Vikings are taking a WR with their 1st pick in the 2009 draft. This is almost indisputable. A quick look at their WR depth chart will help explain why:
Bernard Berrian (28 years old) Last season, 48 catches, 964 yards, 7 TD’s.
Sidney Rice (23) 15, 141 yards…This man is listed right now by the Vikings as their #2…and he took a step backward last year after a relatively disappointing rookie season.
Bobby Wade (28) 53, 645, 2 TD’s…respectable, would make a nice slot...Read Full Story

Now that OTA's are on deck, we have a pretty good idea of what this Chicago Bears team will look like going into training camp. New GM Phil Emery has already put his stamp on the roster, making a multitude of moves via trade, free agency and the draft. There is no question that the Bears have a better roster going into this season than they did last year. The names are out there and we know the positions they are going to play, but why do...
The Chicago Bears went 8-8 in 2011, down from their record of 11-5 in 2010. Against NFC North teams, they broke even at 3-3, but two of those wins came after facing the Minnesota Vikings, who will be picking 3rd in the upcoming draft. Ouch. The season started out great, and by Week 11, Jay Cutler had led his team to seven wins versus three losses.
