160 people arrested in London’s biggest swoop on gangsters

LONDON: In a major swoop, nearly 160 people have been arrested and seized “a significant amount” of drugs during raids across London by the Metropolitan Police’s new dedicated unit tackling gang crime. “This is a step change in how we tackle gang crime in London,” Metropolitan Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe said.
