Best Dressed at the Academy of Country Music Awards
Getty Images.If there's one crowd you can count on for glitz and glitter, it's the country music crew. Rhinestones and taffeta are all part of the game for many of the most popular songstresses, but thankfully, some know how to handle all that glamor just right. Here were the best dressed ladies at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
America's favorite crossover act, Taylor Swift, struck an ultra-glamorous pose in an asymmetric crimson Angel Sanchez gown for her arrival.
She later changed into this white minidress with bell sleeves for her performance, complementing the boho look with a sparkly gold headband.
She accepted her award in this shimmering black and gold dress by Milly, finishing the look with a hot pair of cowboy boots.
But my favorite look of Taylor's was this beaded tasseled minidress. It's so hot, so sparkly, and so befitting one of the cutest girls in the music business.
Nicole Kidman looks lovely and shapely in this L'Wren Scott dress. L'Wren Scott (also known as Mick Jagger's girlfriend) is the only designer Kidman wears these days.
Miley Cyrus looks extremely sexy for a 16-year-old in this Monique Lhullier gown, but who can blame her? The dress is hot.
Hold your vomit over the matching outfits. Jennifer Love Hewitt looks really, really beautiful in this flowy white halter gown. Especially with her hair up and the diamond studs in her ears. It's a perfect look.
Carrie Underwood looks perfect as always in this ever-so-slightly pink asymmetrical gown. It's the sort of gown you'd expect to see on a prima ballerina.
Kellie Pickler 's gold Zuhair Murad Haute Couture dress does amazing things for her body, but I'm not sure how crazy I am about the plating going on. It makes the whole "mermaid silhouette" thing feel a little too literal.
