(Getty Images)more pics »The CW network announced earlier this week that it would be picking up a couple of new series, among them A Beautiful Life with Mischa Barton and Melrose Place with Ashlee Simpson. Per usual, it held an "UpFront" gathering last night in NYC to celebrate the upcoming shows, bringing out all the finest talent the network has to offer.

America's Next Top Model host and executive producer Tyra Banks is back to wearing wigs, despite a brief stint in cornrows on her talk show. She wore a lovely gray silk belted jumpsuit with nude peep-toe pumps.

Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester looks a tad boring in her blazer and shorts combo. Perhaps the look might have worked if she'd stayed a brunette.

Her co-star Blake Lively, on the other hand, is anything but boring in her turquoise jumpsuit. She most certainly has the legs to pull this off.

Taylor Momsen is still unable to dress herself as anyone but Jenny Humphrey.

Jessica Szohr's hair and makeup are great, and her loose-fitting studded blue dress is edgy without being annoying (ahem, Taylor).

The ladies of 90210 know how to represent. Jessica Stroup's nude chiffon dress is adorable.

Jessica Lowndes' strapless empire-waist dress is equally adorable.

AnnaLynne McCord looks like a cougar, per usual, in her Dolce & Gabbana dress. And that's cool.

Expect to see more of starlet Nina Dobrev...or not. She's starring in that new Vampire show that's getting pretty bad reviews.

Ashlee Simpson has made her pencil skirt worlds more interesting with a statement necklace and a great pair of pink strappy heels.
