Looking Foxy: Leighton Meester in Louis Vuitton

Actress Leighton Meester is much more of a fashion renegade than the character she plays on Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf. She had the gumption to wear a daring spangled-leggings Louis Vuitton ensemble to this year's Costume Institute Gala, after all.

Meester is currently in Paris, where she sat in the front row at the Spring 2010 Louis Vuitton ready to wear presentation. She looked youthful and street-ready in a Louis Vuitton ensemble cinched with a thin black leather belt.

While many of us are uncomfortable with the reemergence of socks with dress shoes, Leighton is a shining example of how the look can work (although I still cringe at the thought of wearing socks with sandals).
