San Francisco is best known for their "Mission-style" burritos. My absolute favorite and my personal definition of a true Mission burrito is at El Farolito. Another great thing about this place is that they open till 4a on the weekends. The two best (and most popular) things to eat in the Mission after the bars are the bacon wrapped hot dogs and El Farolito.

Each type is served on two overlapped small tortillas and sometimes garnished with guacamole, salsa, onions, and cilantro. Also prepared on the grill is a sandwiched taco called mulita...
Matthew Yglesias makes the argument that Chipotle is the Apple of fast food. America may not be manufacturing consumer electronics, but it is manufacturing more burritos. It’s an interesting and provocative piece. For what it’s worth, I love Chipotle. Specifically, the carnitas burrito with rice, black beans, cheese, corn salsa, and hot salsa.
If El Taurino were a monster movie, Tokyo would be the tacos and the salsa would be Godzilla. The movies aren't about Tokyo struggling to save itself against disaster. The movies are about that fiery, show-stopping Godzilla, overpowering everything in his path in true cinematic monster fashion. And everyone loves him for it.
