LURKERS – pixelvision video
This is a short pixelvision video. The pixelvision 2000 was a camera sold by Fisher-Price in the early 80s. It recorded sound and video on ordinary audiocassette tapes. It was a fun toy but a crude camera – it recorded black and white images with no focus, no zoom, and a poor viewfinder, so you weren’t always filming what you thought you were. But it has a haunted and spooky quality to it that I really liked. This film was recorded walking around parks, tennis courts, and woods. We saw several people who seemed to be lurking rather than walking so we called this film “Lurkers” and made a distorted spooky soundtrack to accompany the film. I also liked the Lurkers song “Shadows” because it is so stupid. Sound by New Disorder.

Fisher-Price Shake ‘n Go! Disney/Pixar Vehicles 2 – Globe Grand Prix is a must have, particularly if your kids are hooked on the Vehicles 2 Movie. Lightning McQueen and Francesco, two from the most memorable characters from the movie, race towards the finish in this amazing must have 2011 hot Christmas toy.
The game consists of taking the Shake ‘n Go automobiles, shaking them up and placing them on the track and letting them go. Your child controls the power and speed from the vehicles based on how much they shake them up. The far more they shake the quicker and longer they are going to go!
Children watch because the vehicles race round the Globe Grand Prix through London, Tokyo and Italy. And, just like the movie, the racetrack also comes complete using the camera. This camera enables you to knock the cars off the track by turning the camera around. This 2011 hot Christmas toy keeps young children occupied and happy for hours.
The racecars which are used on the track don’t include any switches or buttons to run. The power comes from the kid who simply shakes the automobile to obtain it going. And going they do, as much as twenty feet per shake.
The Globe Grand Prix racetrack comes with two collectible cars, Lightning McQueen and Francesco. Even so, the play set won’t be total until you collect Finn McMissile, Master, Nigel Gearsley and Professor Z. The beauty of this set is the fact that your kid can play alone or with other youngsters in their class or neighborhood.
