Bethany Meuleners, 2010 M.F.A. graduate with a degree in Fashion and Knitwear Design, is at it again. She has just been featured in an article in Blü Magazine’s most recent issue. Bethany Gouldin is an MFA student at UNT. She is majoring in watercolor. The great thing about her work is that she has broken with your typical watercolor artist. She works in abstraction and make paper objects. Her work plays with aspects of crystals and folded paper. I think the work is very elegant and beautifully delicate. Born on West Point U.S. Army Base in New York, Bethany Meuleners has lived in California, Nebraska, Virginia, and Germany. She now considers ‘home’ where her family has settled in Northern Virginia.
