Who sang Bette Davis Eyes? Kim Carnes is the singer of the iconic song Bette Davis Eyes and for that she won her Grammy Award. She has said that her distinct and raspy voice came from the many hours she has spent in smoky bars and clubs singing while trying to break into the music business.
The original submission to Kim Carnes of the song was rejected but after a whole new instrumental arrangement was made that the song was accepted which in turn became a huge domestic and international hit.
