THE PERILS OF PAULINE This is a pretty silly film, but you gotta love Betty Hutton as Pearl White. Yes the writers took liberty with the Life Story thereof, but the songs are ever sing along great. I particularly loved "Papa Don't Preach To me!" John Lund is as dead as a doornail, but you have to give a standing ovation to Hutton, who sing and acts with her usual vivacity.
