Betty White Desperately Wanted a Nude Scene in 'The Proposal'

Here is a caption. Legendary comedic actress Betty White is full of surprises. Not only does she play a mean game of beer pong, she also recognizes a hilarious opportunity when she sees one.

Betty has a scene-stealing turn in The Proposal - a role that required singing an Eskimo song in Tlingit - but she wanted to take it even further than the producers would let her.

Betty told the L.A. Times, ""I begged to ... have them let me do a nude scene, but they wouldn't, they just wouldn't. I said, 'Well, it's a comedy and I'll get laughs, I guarantee it!'"

It wouldn't have been the first time Betty got topless in front of a camera; she was a pin-up girl, albeit decades ago.
