The Name Jesus When the fulness of time came, God did satisfy the longings of His people and revealed Himself in all His power and glory through the name Jesus. Godhead is a Middle English variant of the word godhood, and denotes the divine character of the Christian God. Baptism  Defined as dip, immerse, or washing. It's from the Greek word Baptizo, which has always meant to overwhelm or plunge in a liquid (water). The New Testament was written in Greek.
