Some atheists enjoy debating religion and have a lot of experience with traditional Christian doctrines, but they may find themselves unprepared for that Jehovah's Witness who comes knocking at their door. The views of The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society are different from those of most Protestants, so if you are going to discusses Watchtower Society doctrines and Jehovah's Witnesses' beliefs, you must understand what those differences are...

A three-day annual convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses starts today at the Youth Hall, Mulinu’u, with its theme: “Keep on the Watch.”    Among the many topics discussed are: “Know That the End is Near “Friday, 2:45pm; “Stay Awake as Christian Families” Friday 3:15pm; “Imitate Jesus’ example of Watchfulness” Saturday, 11:00 am; “Keep in expectation, Watching for Jehovah’s Day” Sunday 3:15pm.  

Sometimes I like to stop for coffee at a local place.   And oddly enough this area is patrolled by the JW, who try so hard to hand out their religious tracts. I am not big on Christianity, as least not the hypocrisy of it. Buddhism fits me better.  Nevertheless, my every lasting soul faces hell, or so I am told. So when the young woman approached me with her religious booklets, I asked her instead if she would support my candidacy for Satan...
