Sep 11, Bichon Frise Missing
A Bichon Frise – pictured left, named Benji, was stolen in North Carolina, along with a car belonging to Bob and Linda Schneider. They had left the ignition running in the car so that the air conditioner could stay on for Benji while they were gone – which was only 20 minutes.
During this time, the car with the dog inside was taken. Later the car was recovered in Ohio, but no sign of Benji.
Authorities are looking for the suspected car thief in several states.
Benji has a microchip, so his owners are still hopeful that he will be found and returned to them.
