I think people lost their marbles when 2011 ended. No, not because of the unnecessary amounts of champagne and finger food consumed before the countdown, or the crazy amounts of unprotected sex they had when the ball dropped in Times Square. Jus sayin

But it had to be the fact that 3 Stacks kept giving us dope verse after dope verse on so many features like he was ready to make an appearance, only to find out that the guy chooses to not show up for Beyonce's "Party" video (the song that initially had people wantin more 3000 in 2011) and lets not forget the whole Mr. X-cover-my-face fiasco for the Dungeon Family GQ shoot!?! like what gives Benjamin???? People need to see you!!!!!

But you know what?! it all adds to the mystery that is the other brotha from OutKast, dude is so good that all you need... is a verse. and nothin else

Bet I think I've said enough about Andre (gee, ya think?) when I need to be sayin that B.O.B. is ridin high off of the promotion of his upcoming project Strange Clouds. The buzz got started when we saw the trailer for the title track featuring Weezy F. and the sci-fi inspired cover art for the single (and the official music video that graced MTV). Now the Grande Hustle emcee has officially ended 2011 with a much-talked-about, much-buzzed-about bang with the like's of Andre 3000 spittin bar-for-bar on "Play The Guitar."

The lyrically-infested track about playing a stringed instrument features a upbeat fun-in-the-sun drum pattern full of bass (perfect for Summer 2012) and an all-too-familiar T.I. lyric as the song's hook.

Strange Clouds is B.O.B's upcoming sophomore effort and is set to drop March 13th.
