Pakistan People’s party reportedly has empowered premier of Pakistan to take any unexpected decision during the prevalent political situation of the country. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Gilani and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Youssef Raza Gilani assured the participants that PPP government would not submit before any unauthorized and autocratic force in the country.

He advised parliamentarians not to scare from any one. He also spoke about senate elections and hope that his party would win senate elections convincingly and would start preparing for general elections after that. He further termed memogate scandal as conspiracy against PPP government and termed this document as baseless.

This meeting is considered as a show of power to the armed forces mainly which was the target of memo issue. There have been strong differences between powerful military establishment and PPP over this issue. Due to this Issue Mr. Zardari has travelled to Dubai on pretext of his deteriorating medical condition but prime minister himself declared him as fit. Despite being declared as fit Mr. Zardari has not announced his schedule to return to office. It is commonly believed in the country that he is on run and can resign any time.

Many things are running after the PPP led government which includes Memo Scandal, RPP case and NRO. The news suggests that something is expected to happen soon otherwise there was no need to give message to lawmakers not to fear from any one. Well the question arises that Lawmakers fearing from whom?
