She began her career as a pop singer in her teens, and was well-known for her marriage to DJ Chris Evans, but is now best known for portraying Rose Tyler, companion to the Doctor in the television series Doctor Who from 2005 to 2006. Baby Boy For Billie Piper
Singer turned actress Billie Piper has given birth to a baby boy named Winston James Fox. The Doctor Who star required an emergency caesarean after a 26 hour labour. The baby was born at 1am, weighing in at 6lb 11oz, reports Telegraph.The father, actor Laurence Fox, said of his newborn son, "He is beautiful. He is sweet. "Billie is happy, of course she is, she's a mum."
Billie's ex-husband Chris Evans was one of the first visitors. Evans, a Radio 2 presenter, said, "Mum is very happy and I am really pleased. There are some tears of joy up there."
