Billy Bob Thornton news, related photos and videos, and reviews of Billy Bob Thornton performances. According to Wikipedia: William Robert Thornton is an Academy Award-winning American screenwriter, actor, as well as occasional director, playwright and singer. He came to fame in the mid 1990s, after writing and starring in the film Sling Blade, and has since established a career as a Hollywood leading actor, having appeared in several successful films, including 2003's Bad Santa. Thornton, who has been described in media reports as "Hollywood's go-to alpha male", is also known for his former marriage to actress Angelina Jolie.
Billy Bob Thornton is set to star opposite Dwayne Johnson in Faster , the George Tillman-directed action drama that will begin production early next year.
In the CBS Films project, Johnson plays Driver, an ex-con out to avenge his brother's murder. Thornton plays Cop, a veteran policeman who trails Driver as he races to settle with those responsible for the murder.
