The new head coach of the University of Kentucky men's basketball team is Billy Gillispie. Gillispie was the head coach of Texas A&M and will replace Tubby Smith, who left for the University of Minnesota. Gillispie won 70 games in three seasons at Texas A&M and the Aggies reached the Sweet 16 in the 2007 tournament.
