Billy Graham Museum

In memory of Billy Graham, his howtown has created a museum to honor the legacy of Billy Graham.

DEAR REV. GRAHAM: Does God ever give up on some people? I have a cousin who just laughs whenever anyone starts talking about God, and he says he'll just take his chances when it comes time to die. Several of us in our family pray for him regularly but he looks like a hopeless case to me. —S.Y.Dear S.Y.: I hope you won't stop praying for your cousin, because only God can break through the hard shell he has built up around his heart. Remember...

DEAR REV. GRAHAM: Please pray for me. The doctor says I need open-heart surgery, and I'm scared I won't make it. I've never been a religious person, but is it too late to turn to God? If I died right now I know I wouldn't go to Heaven. —D.F.Dear D.F.: Sometimes it takes a serious crisis like this to wake us up and make us realize our need of God — and I believe this is what is happening to you. After all, would you have ever thought seriously...

The historical Jesus is the figure of the first-century Jesus of Nazareth as reconstructed by scholars using historical methods that include critical analysis of gospel texts as the primary source for his biography, and non-biblical sources for the historical and cultural context in which he lived. Use of the term "the historical Jesus" implies that the figure thus reconstructed may differ from that presented in the teaching of the ecumenical councils ("the dogmatic Christ") and in other Christian accounts ("the Christ of faith"). Though the reconstructions vary, they generally include these basic points: Jesus was a Jewish teacher who attracted a small following of ... Read Full Story

The Great Commission is a commandment, not a suggestion.   No wonder then, that Matthew 28:19-20 is such a debated passage of Scripture.  Controversy, contention, and contradiction are words that readily come to mind when discussion begins.  Usually the debate is focused upon the words of Jesus concerning baptism.  Those who espouse the Trinitarian mode of baptism use verse 19 as their proof text, but seem to ignore or gloss over the abundant biblical support for baptism in the name of Jesus.  As for those who claim that Jesus name baptism is the clear scriptural norm, Matthew 28:19 represents a hurdle that must be examined ... It will be a scary day when many so-called "Christians" lose out with God. Lord, Lord, we did Miracles, Prayers, and Healings IN Your Name! Jesus is Lord of all, Acts 10:36! But He never knew them. Matthew 7:19-27. Why? The failed to use the saving name of Jesus where it counted the most! In Baptism. We Are Told point blank by Paul to use Jesus in Every Word or Deed! Baptism Is Both! Colossians 3:17. In the bible every baptism is in a Lord Jesus Christ type. Not a word in there about a so-called trinity! You can't be with Jesus in his death, burial, and rising unless it is ... Friday night I have a date with Billy Graham! The movie, "Billy, the Early Years" hits theaters Friday night for all to enjoy. I am in awe of this lanky country boy God chose to carry His message. In the natural, Billy seemed the least likely person in the world. He was told, repeatedly, he would never amount to anything or "go anywhere in this world." Really? Billy Graham has been to virtually every country in the world, is on a first-name basis with every world leader, and is the most respected Man of God in our life time. Never once was there a ...
