Billy Joe Daugherty was a much beloved pastor in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was known for his Bible Institutes, his work at Oral Roberts University, and the charity ministries his church developed in their city. Outside of Oklahoma Daugherty gained a following by his radio and TV program, Victory in Jesus. In November of 2009 Daugherty died of lymphoma at just 57 years of age. Billy Joe Daugherty, who reached 100 million homes with his Victory in Jesus radio and TV shows, died after a short battle with lymphoma at 57 early this morning. He was hospitalized in October for a viral infection, and that's when doctors found he had cancer.
