TMZ reported that
Billy Ray Cyrus had filed for divorce from longterm wife Tish Cyrus, citing irreconcilable differences. According to the divorce papers, he asked for "shared" custody of the couple's 3 minor children. He also suggested that the court "approve a parenting
plan" to be signed by both Billy Ray and Tish ... and to make an "equitable distribution of the marital estate."
It all has seemed slightly normal -- in the divorce way of things -- but in November of 2010 reportedly flipped out when reporters would not stop inquiring about his separation. He stormed out of an interview with radio host Woody Johnson when the DJ asked about the split.
"I have to ask you because you are a celebrity and we've all heard. Your marriage is going?" he inquired. Billy Ray Cyrus responded: "Oh man. You know what bud? Woody Johnson. Woody Johnson. God bless America, God bless our troops. Woody Johnson, look at you," Cyrus said. He continued: "Oh I ain't mad at you. Have a good day, brother."
But then he abruptly exited the studio, saying off the record "how rude" Johnson had been. Eek!
