Achy Breaky Hair

Even a casual observer of popular culture will notice that we've worn some really ridiculous hair styles over the years. Even more ridiculously we thought that they were cool at the time, even though the were clearly bad ideas in hindsight. Often we were inspired by some flash in the pan celebrity. Take the mullet for instance. Thanks to Billy Ray Cyrus that monstrosity was briefly as popular as line dancing. So what would make other wise reasonable and intelligent people walk around with rat's tails? I think the obvious answer is that some sort of conspiracy is responsible. Fortunately hair will grow back, most of the time. Unfortunately the 'bi level' is making an unattractive come back in the form of Kate Gosselin. Has she been getting her hair cut by the minions of darkness? In fact Mother Gosselin may have gone faustian & cut her own bargain with the morlocks: her children in return for fame and fortune. The entertainment business has more deals with darkness than any other! Let's just hope that some one can reach her in time for a renounciation!
