As Alice at Wonderlandblog points out, it's rare to see official merch as good as these Bioshock 2 EVE Hypos -- you usually have to find some fetishistic fan art. But this is an actual in-store tchotchke, and it's a corker. (via Wonderland)...  

Well let's see...the headline is an instruction ("Mimic BioShock's Body-Mod Splicing With Your Own EVE Hypodermic Needles") which means I should do exactly that based on Gizmodo's recommendation. When Bioshock released in the middle of 2007, it seemed like a turning point for story telling in games, as the crafted environments were rich enough to instil a simultaneous sense of wonder and dread, giving players glimpses at strings of story dotted around the corridors and rooms of Rapture, as well as providing us with a style of gameplay that was highly free-form in nature, with ‘sandbox gameplay’ to allow for the emergence of player...  

Considering the dichotomy of the moral decisions (see: good or evil) offered to the silent hero of the original BioShock, many have wondered how the upcoming undersea adventure, BioShock 2, would take his actions in the first installment into account. Without a save game import feature (ala Mass Effect 2), how could the sequel register the player's decisions in the original? The answer was recently revealed by Bioshock 2's creative director...  

While Bioshock 2 is sure to have a stellar singleplayer campaign (as evidenced by the recent Siren Alley trailer), it’s also going to contain a few multiplayer modes, one of which is called ‘Capture the Sister.’ As you can tell from the title, it’s essentially capture the flag, only using the creepy Little Sisters as a points currency, as you pick and lug the little girls from one place to another to score points for your team while trying...  

Kidnapping children and shoving them into tiny vents while fending off gun-toting pursuers? Just another day in BioShock 2's "Capture the Sister" multiplayer mode. Joining the recent singleplayer trailer 2K Games have released a new multiplayer gameplay trailer for the upcoming BioShock 2. The latest vid offers a preview of "Capture the Sister" a capture-the-flag style gametype that pins the game's Little Sister characters as the flag, accompanied by their Big Daddy protectors.
