Baird Venture Partners, a unit of Milwaukee-based Robert W. Baird & Co., has joined with the State of Wisconsin Investment Board to lead a $6.2 million investment into Zurex Pharma, a Madison biotechnology firm developing products aimed at preventing infections, in the biotech's first major funding round.
