Health officials in Vietnam on Friday confirmed that a farmer has been infected with the deadly bird flu virus, the first human case in the country since late 2005. death in Indonesia from bird flu, bringing the nation's bird flu death toll
to 55. A 27-year old woman died
from the virus in Central Java province on Friday, just 5 days after
she first noticed symptoms. We do not yet know how she caught the
disease or how she was exposed.
