The Bird Rock Bandits are Eric House, Matthew Yanke, Orlando Osuna, Henri Hendricks, and Seth Cravens. They are involved with a police investigation into the death of Emery Kauanui Jr.
Emery Kauanui Jr was a pro surfer who was killed in a fight, allegedly with the Bird Rock Bandits.
The surfing community has been closely following the Emery Kauanui Jr story and investigation. A paddle-out memorial was held for Emery Kauanui.
Henri Hendricks has been charged by police in the murder investigation. Henri Hendricks is a football player for UNH and has been suspended from playing this fall by the University. Becuase of Henri Hendricks' involvement, the college football community has now taken an interest in this case as well.
