Bjork announces residency

Bjork is set to bring her ‘Biophilia’ shows to the US after announcing a lengthy residency in two venues in Manhattan & New York in February & March, this follows a successful series of shows at the Manchester International Festival last year.

‘Biophilia’ is widely considered as one of 2011’s most ambitious projects combining traditional studio album & iPhone app, the Icelandic singer was able to merge technology & art to create something quite unique.

                      

Working with the New York Hall of Science, ‘Biophilia’ is billed as a “live show and education series” and will offer “interactive science and music workshops for middle-school children.”

New York Hall of Science in Queens (New York) on February 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th.

Manhattan’s Roseland Ballroom on February 22nd, 25th, and 28th ending with a concert on March 2nd
