Snow blanketed the walls as well as the ground in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park Wednesday afternoon. According to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction, the rest of the week will be partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of precipitation on Sunday.  

It took National Park Service rangers hours in rain and darkness to rescue an injured climber from the north rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
