The 27-year-old daughter-in-law of Missouri Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer has died in a car accident in central Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Amy Luetkemeyer died Friday after an accident in Maries County. The congressman's spokesman Paul Sloca says Amy Luetkemeyer married the congressman's son, Trevor, in October 2009. U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer won't likely face opposition in the 2010 election, but that hasn't stopped fundraising for Luetkemeyer's political committee. According to records filed with the Federal Election Commission, Luetkemeyer raised $576,600 so far for the 2010 election cycle but is also carrying $3.1 million in debt.
