Blake Fielder-Civil was romantically involved with singer Amy Winehouse. (Bauer Griffin) Amy Winehouse tragically passed away this weekend at the age of 27. The troubled singer's cause of death has yet to be determined, but there are those who are already saying an overdose was what killed her at such a young age.And, looking at her history with drugs and tumultuous relationships over the years, the rumors could be true. For instance, she and ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil had a very turbulent relationship, and he also struggled with addiction and violent rages during their relationship.

The two got married in 2007 and filed for divorce in 2009 after two long years together. Blake wound up in jail after a bar brawl in 2008, and there were often photographs of the couple banged up -- and some say the injuries were self-inflicted.
Even when the two filed for divorce -- the reason was alleged adultery -- the two were often rumored to be back together. Amy was once quoted: "I still love Blake and I want him to move into my new house with me — that was my plan all along ... I won't let him divorce me. He's the male version of me and we're perfect for each other."
On the other hand, before that, Amy had said in an interview that their whole marriage had been based on drugs and that she'd even "forgotten" they were married.
They went through with the divorce, however, but their relationship drama was still in the news up until her death today. Just last week the tabloids reported that Blake had been calling his ex from jail (he was sentenced for burglary and fake gun possession in June), while others claimed Amy was trying to get a hold of him.
