A while back I wrote some posts on speciality search engines. Were I outlined some neat search engines that one should always have in your research arsenal. According to a report by the Centre for Media Research, Hitwise recently looked at 47 search engines and found that Google and Yahoo account for 86% of all searches - that's basically 9 out of every 10 web searches, which is pretty dominant. In fact, Google accounts for 6 of those 9 searches.
