By kuanyin on  From moonlightbecomesme.blogspot.com
Blog Your Blessings is a meme begun by Blue Panther, and every Sunday the group blogs their blessings. If you'd like to read more of the blessings by the group members or join, the links are on the lower left sidebar. Today I'd like to post about Guidance from Source/God/Spirit. All my life I've felt guided and have experienced tremendous assistance from Source/God/Spirit. All of us have this ability to be guided and listen to our wise inner voice.I want to share a personal story about how I...Read Full Story

Blog Your Blessings Sunday

As a child, I was clairvoyant and clairsentient--talking to my angels and invisible beings that no one else could see. My gifts terrified my Mother who couldn't see what I could see or know what I knew, and she was distressed and displeased whenever I would share stories that later came true. Therefore, I shut down my gifts so as to not upset my Mother.Only in my twenties was I able to reclaim some of what earlier had come naturally to me. This took some work with others using various methods...Read Full Story

Blog Your Blessings Sunday--Laughter As Antidote

By kuanyin on  From moonlightbecomesme.blogspot.com
The funniest spam email I've received in a long, long time came this week to us. This is what it said:"Three houses in your neighborhood have had high amounts of spiritual activity. Our instruments show strange energy radiating directly from your home. Please dont wait until it is too late!"It was from an organization called Ghost Control. And this email leads me into my BYB Sunday Blessings in which I participate along with many other beautiful bloggers: I'm blessed I have a good sense of...Read Full Story

Blog Your Blessings Sunday--Bloggin Blues and Blessings

Photo: Charles PfeilIt was the May-August time frame of 2006 when most of my blogs were born, and now that my blog anniversaries are rolling around, I'm re-appraising how much I've learned from blogging, how much time I've spent (and still spend), and where I wish to go with future blogging efforts. This past year has been ONE huge learning curve, and when I began blogging, I was basically clueless about most everything blogging. I've made mistakes, made friends, and made most of my blogs Page...Read Full Story

Photo: Charles Pfeil As some of my fellow BYB Sunday kin are moving into Monday in their part of the world, I'm usually the LAST one to get my post up since I live in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. My partner woke me at 6 AM so we could get a running start on our busy day. As usual we began our day with a cup of coffee and a jacuzzi on our back deck surrounded by greenery and very private. We have enjoyed this top-of-the-line large jacuzzi for many years (replaced several years ago by the...Read Full Story

Photo: terragalleria I am grateful I survived 2006 for my first Blog Your Blessings Sunday of 2007! 2006 was a Year of Challenges, but each stretching on my part to meet each of these challenges was met with success. It has been said that we're only given as much as we can handle, and at least for 2006, this homily seems to have been the case. I am grateful I was able to learn about blogging and develop my skills and knowledge in this arena. I learned through trial and error, many...Read Full Story

The past two weeks have presented health issues to me, and I'm not kidding when I say it's been rough. I've not blogged for the most part as my attention and focus has been on getting well and discovering what provoked me to get out of balance.I'm very greatful for my partner who has picked up the slack with grocery shopping, errands, etc, and for my daughter who has also lent a much-needed hand in many areas while I've been down.I'm also greatful for my wise, informed friends who have...Read Full Story

I have taken on the long overdue task of scanning-in all of my old travel photos through the last century. Well, not exactly a century, but it sure feels like it as it takes a long time to scan. My goal is to scan in at least 100 a day. I have a Slide account now,and I plan to put together slide shows for personal photos and my travel photos. Since I've been a photo bug and a world traveler for many years, I have thousands and thousands of photos. Most of these photos were taken before I went...Read Full Story

A beloved friend passed away recently. I blogged about it here and here. The blessing from Tom's passing is his ability to communicate across the veil, and so he's been hanging around making commentary to me. Like another psychic friend jokes, "It's good to have friends in high places." Not everyone I've known who has crossed over comes and visits, so I feel very blessed that he's able to do so and desired to visit us.On another note, I joined the Blog Writer's and Artists group this past week...Read Full Story
