PayU2Blog Handles FTC Compliance

PayU2Blog released an announcement to all bloggers registered with the system that any “review” type assignments are now required to have a disclosure statement in the post to meet FTC compliance guidelines.

However, if you receive “freeform” assignments where you are just required to put a keyword and a link you are to not mention the company at all, nor write a review of any kind. You are to specifically write a normal blog post and insert the keyword somewhere unobtrusively in your post.

By doing this you are not endorsing a product or service and your are technically only being paid to insert a keyword link. This would make you exempt from having to mention your post was sponsored in any way, so you would require no disclosure for “freeform” based assignments.

PayU2Blog is one of the more unique Blog Earning platforms with the majority of their assignments being FreeForm. This is a very beneficial thing for bloggers as you can write a normal post and earn money for it just by including the embedded keyword.

The only disadvantage is the payments tend to be around $5 per assignment which means you have to write lots of posts to earn alot of money, and each link is a dofollow link which steals some PR from your blog to pass it on to the company you are linking to.

Still overall PayU2Blog used to be the top earner for my blog for over a year and I use it exclusively on one of my blogs. It is an earning program that does better for personal diary type of blogs than technology blogs, and you can earn in excess of sixty dollars per month even for a blog with a 0 Pagerank.
