I moved over to WP from Blogger a week ago. Ever since then my daily subscriber emails sent through Feedburner have lost their formatting. The hard returns are working, but the paragraphs are not. So everything gets all squished together.

Hi,
Don't add it into the CSS Stylesheet, this is not the HTML for a page, it is a CSS stylesheet used to control the presentation of a HTML page.
You need to put the analytics code inside a file called footer.php, which you should find within your themes folder e.g the location of the file would be:
/wp-content/themes/footer.php
Then you can add this code without problem right above the
