How to tell doctors you insist on a blood transfusion?
I have found that doctors do not like to give blood transfusions unless it’s absolutely necessary. If your blood counts are low, a blood transfusion doesn’t mean that it will solve the problem. It sounds like you need to find out why they are low. Insist on an answer for that.
