Julia Roberts, Emily Blunt and Amy Adams co-star in this fact-based political thriller directed by Mike Nichols and based on George Crile’s 2003 book by the same name. DVD. Maxim’s Review.  
    Juno (2007)
    Facing an unplanned pregnancy, teenage Juno (Ellen Page) devises a plan to locate the proverbial perfect parents to adopt her baby. Michael Cera co-stars while Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner play the pair of affluent yuppies anxious for a child in this offbeat coming-of-age comedy, which won the 2008 Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.     John C. Reilly stars as fictional pop star Dewey Cox in this parody of the increasingly predictable rags-to-riches music biopic. On his hard-knocks journey toward stardom, Dewey crosses paths with the likes of Elvis, Buddy Holly and the Beatles. Before long, Dewey is writing hits, making women swoon and doing food endorsements — in between over-the-top moments of silliness, which producers Jake Kasdan and Judd Apatow are so adept at creating. DVD and Blu-Ray.  
    Lions for Lambs
    Robert Redford directs and stars in this complex look at America’s war on terror, a three-pronged narrative of lives connected by politics and bloodshed. While a Washington bigwig (Tom Cruise) goes toe to toe with a reporter (Meryl Streep) on the issue of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, an idealistic professor (Redford) tries to keep his students engaged as two of his former pupils struggle to survive behind enemy lines in the Middle East. DVD and Blu-Ray.  
    Sense & Sensibility Collector’s Set (Sense & Sensibility 2008 / Miss Austen Regrets / Persuasion 2007)
    When her young niece (Imogen Poots) enlists her help in finding a husband, novelist Jane Austen (Olivia Williams) — who shunned marriage for life as a single woman — takes stock of her own romantic past. Greta Scacchi and Samuel Roukin also star in this made-for-television “Masterpiece Theatre” drama based on Austen’s life and her actual correspondence with friends, family and would-be suitors.     There Will Be Blood
