Bo Derek: Hair Icon
In 1979, actress and model Bo Derek starred in 10, the film that shot her to stardom and forever associated her with a hairstyle: beaded cornrows.
Upon the film's success, many women imitated Derek's beachy style, which became known as the "Bo Derek." While it's not an easy look to pull off forever, it still occasionally pops up on a red carpet or two - Christina Aguilera went through a definite Bo Derek phase.
