Surfer Kelly Slater and skateboarder Bob Burnquist met in an unusual event in New York. A minimegarrampa was set up in Times Square, between 42nd and 43rd streets in Manhattan, for views of skating tricks, and BMX. Kelly Slater was just watching the show, while 21 athletes made presentations with their skates and bikes. Besides Burnquist, Lincoln Ueda was another Brazilian in the event.
