Bob Hoskins to Star as Dwarf in ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’
Bob Hoskins has been confirmed to star as one of the eight dwarfs in the upcoming fantasy movie ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.
Universal Studios has confirmed Bob Hoskins to star in the upcoming fantasy flick ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’. He will play the role of one of the eight dwarfs in the movie along with Ian McShane, who plays the character of dwarf’s leader, Caesar.
As per the reports, Bob will play the role of a blind dwarf, Constantine. He will also be joined by Eddie Izzard and Toby Jones. They will also play as the dwarfs. Izzard will play as burly dwarf Tiberius, while Toby will play as a timid dwarf, Claudius.
Beside casting the aforementioned trio, Eddie Marsan of ‘Sherlock Holmes’ and Steven Graham are believed to be in talks with the studios, to play the characters of warriors in the movie. Bob was lastly seen in ‘Made in Dagenham’, while Izzard will be the part of voice cast of ‘Cars 2’.
Toby Jones will next be seen in ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ and will also be the part of voice cast for ‘The Adventures of Tintin’. He will join the cast of ‘The Hunger games’ for filming his part.
The above mentioned cast will join the lead cast Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron in the movie ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’, directed by Rupert Sanders, while Evan Spiliotopoulos and Evan Daugherty are giving the touch up to the script of the movie.
’Snow White and the Huntsman’ is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 1, 2012.
