The Los Angeles Angels have announced that they’ve released veteran outfielder/designated hitter Bobby Abreu.  To replace Abreu, the Angels have called up top prospect Mike Trout.  Angels manager Mike Scioscia confirmed that Trout “will play”, and some believe the 20-year-old will take over an everyday role with Los Angeles. I’m glad that I decided to stick with the slumping Bobby Abreu and keep him in my fantasy baseball lineup because he has broke loose. He hit 2 home runs and totaled 12 points in last nights game. I admit that I was getting close to replacing him in my lineup, but decided to give him another week to see if he could snap out of the worst slump of his career.
