The Cleveland Browns have announcedx that they have signed veteran free agent wide receiver Bobby Engram. Engram reunites with Mike Holmgren, who coach Engram in Seattle, where he had the best seasons of his career.
Engram, 47, has spent 14 seasons in the NFL. Engram caught five passes for 61 yards in the five games he spent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2009. Engram could serve in a mentor role for the Browns younger receivers.
In all Engram has recorded 650 receptions for 7,751 yards and 35 touchdowns. But Engram has done nothing impressive as of late. If nothing else he will be a camp body.
