( 4UMF NEWS ) Bobby Farrelly‘s Son Dead From Overdose:
Director Bobby Farrelly, one half of the famous Farrelly Brothers comedy duo, lost a son to a suspected drug overdose this week.
Emergency personnel responded to an apartment in Costa Mesa, Calif., late Wednesday night after getting a call about an “unresponsive young male” who was the victim of a “possible overdose,” TMZ.com reported.
Jesse Farrelly, 20, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, TMZ said.
“We’ve ruled out foul play,” a spokesman for the Orange County Coroner told the Daily News after the initial autopsy. “We won’t know more until we get the toxicology results.”
Bobby Farrelly and his brother Peter Farrelly are the team behind the classic comedic movies “Something About Mary,” “Dumb and Dumber,” and “Kingpin.”
The family released a statement acknowledging Jesse Farrelly’s struggle with drugs.
“It is with profound sorrow that we accept the passing of our beloved Jesse following his struggle with addiction. We fully trust that he is now in the hands of our Lord,” the statement read.
”We are immeasurably grateful for the abundance of happiness and laughter he brought into our lives, and we will rejoice eternally for all the moments we got to breathe in his wondrous spirit.”
Damn, homie. RIP…
