Throwdown with Bobby Flay

I actually like this show. If you haven't seen the show, it's on the Food Network, and it involves the professional chef Bobby Flay challenging everyday people who have perfected a certain dish to a "throwdown". Bobby finds out about some poor guy who's only claim to fame is that he makes a mean omelet (or whatever), and shows up and basically says "Hey I can make a better omelet than you, cause you suck". Ok, he's not that mean by saying they suck, but I'm sure the other guy is pretty damned intimidated when Bobby Flay shows up. Then the dish is judged by a couple of guys, and they declare a winner, which most of the time, isn't Bobby.


I like this show, because in most of the episode I've seen, Bobby loses. I love it when he loses; Bobby Flay is a bit of a prick, and he cheats in the following ways:

1. Bobby is a professional chef of over 20 years.
2. The competitor has no idea the throwdown is going to take place.
3. Bobby and his helpers have a lot of time in advance to perfect the dish.
4. Bobby like to use a bunch of fancy ingredients in his dishes.


Since Bobby loses most of the time, and to be fair, Bobby is a good sport when he loses, I'll give this show the following grade:

B+
