Bobby Gonzalez Arrested for Shoplifting

Bobby Gonzalez (Getty Images)It's been a rough year for Bobby Gonzalez. He was fired in March from his job coaching the Seton Hall basketball team, and today it was announced that he was arrested for shoplifting from a mall in New Jersey. According to the New York Daily News, Gonzalez has been charged with criminal mischief and shoplifting after he allegedly took a $1,400 bag from Polo Ralph Lauren. His attorney has called the situation a "misunderstanding," claiming that Gonzalez will plead not guilty.
Gonzalez is already in the middle of a lawsuit regarding his dismissal from Seton Hall. He was reportedly fired because of his aggressive conduct.
A court date has not been set, but he could see a sentence of up to five years in jail.
