Former pro wrestler Bobby Lashley showed that he is for real in mixed martial arts, defeating veteran fighter Bob Sapp with a technical knockout in less than two minutes at "Ultimate Chaos" in Biloxi, Miss. As soon as the bell rung, Bobby Lashley went in for a quick takedown. He had no problem with bringing the much larger Sapp to the canvas. From there, he executed his game plan well, staying on top of Sapp and throwing a barrage of punches. Sapp tapped to signal that he wanted the fight... Read Full Story
The Ultimate Chaos main even saw heavyweight Bobby Lashley quickly dispatch the much larger Bob Sapp in the first round.
As soon as the first round bell rang, Lashley took Sapp down to the ground and began to work his ground-and-pound. The fighters remained in the same position, with Lashley throwing punches and elbow strikes and Sapp not attempting to better his position, for half of the first round. Eventually, Lashley landed some heavy blows that connected with Sapp’s face and “The... Read Full Story

Biloxi is the site of this weekend's best MMA card topped by giants Bob Sapp (10-4-1) and Bobby Lashley (3-0) at Ultimate Chaos. Sapp weighed in at a trim 322 pounds. The 6-foot-5 monster normally fights in the 350-380 range. He does have nearly 70 pounds on Lashley but as you can see by the photo, the pro wrestler isn't dwarfed by the former NFL player. Maggie Hendricks will have live coverage here at Cagewriter beginning at 9 p.m. ET. PPV CARD: Bobby Lashley (255.4 lbs.) v. Bob Sapp... Read Full Story

Over the past few days, as Bobby Lashley (3-0) prepared for his fourth
pro mixed martial arts fight, one thing he hasn't had to deal with is
an opponent trying to make him out to be a joke because he's best known
as a pro wrestler.
That's because Bob Sapp (10-4-1), his opponent in the main event on
Saturday night's "Ultimate Chaos" pay-per-view show in Biloxi, Miss.,
has plenty of experience in that kind of world in Japan.
But with Sapp's experience and a 67-pound weight advantage... Read Full Story
Jake Rossen, editor of Real Fighting magazine and contributor to Sherdog.com, made some pretty bold and abrasive statements on ESPN.com regarding Bobby Lashley's participation in TNA's Lockdown PPV. He degraded Lashley for appearing on what he called an "embarrassment to the human race" and referred to pro wrestling as "some poorly performed theater for the hygiene-challenged." He then went on to describe wrestling as "a deranged spectacle full of drug-addled performers taxing their adrenal... Read Full Story
