Before you start reading this, I must warn you,BodyWorlds IS NOT FOR ALL OF YOU, especially if you don’t have a strong stomach.

I am writing this article because it’s an excellent interior design  idea for school laboratories, for medical units, of even for high eccentric living rooms designs.

Personally i find this an original interior design idea, maybe a little creepy, but a unique idea among decorative ideas.

BodyWorlds is a unique art exhibition because of it’s exhibits. Gunther von Hagens is the creator of this unique art concept.

Now let me explain you why this exhibition is so unique and interesting. Von Hagens presents the human body in from an anatomical point of view. Nothing unique or interesting until now, isn’t it?

The interesting thing is that the human body is presented in different circumstances like, playing basketball, skating, riding.

The most interesting thing is that that the exhibits are made from real dead bodies, corps to me more specific.

Von Hagens transforms Death into Art. He invented Plastination, a unique “invention that halts decomposition of the body after death and preserves it for didactic eternity“. He takes donated bodies, takes their skin and fats down and with special techniques, he plastinates the rest of the body in order to obtain flexibility and  high organ preservation.
