Rihanna Wants The Bodyguard
Talk about striking when the iron is hot! Seems our pop princess isn’t taking any time off to heal her battered wounds or mend her emotional scars. Instead, Rihanna has been busy preparing for upcoming projects.
The New York Daily News is reporting that Rihanna is in “talks” to remake the Whitney Houston/Kevin Costner film, “The Bodyguard.” According to the Daily News, Rihanna would be taking on Whitney’s role in the updated version, which an insider says would be a “young and sexy take” on the favorite film. “GI Joe” hottie Channing Tatum’s name has been bandied about to take on Costner’s role.
“Before the situation with Chris, Ri was getting a lot of scripts. She’s been wanting to do movies for a while now,” our insider reveals. In addition to a proposed “Bodyguard” remake, Rihanna is also considering working on a “Charlie’s Angels” sequel…”
Seems her camp is in denial about these plans but haven’t they been in denial all this time anyway?? Hmmm….we’ll see.
