The first ever non-stop flight from Tokyo to Boston, via Japan Airlines, took place on April 22 using the 787-8 Dreamliner. Boeing's new aircraft plant in Charleston, SC has rolled out its first commercial airplane.  This beautiful new 787 is for Air India.  Boeing tweeted this image yesterday afternoon.  I look forward to seeing this bird on airliners.net in a few weeks when she is online and in service. Asia Bizz: On March 26, 2012, two of Boeing Co’s 787′s were delivered to Japan Airlines. This will be the first 787s which will be flying commercially from the US. Japan Airlines plans to fly the new planes between Boston and Tokyo from April 22, 2012. The airlines later has plans to add flights between San Diego and Tokyo.
